Health Career Ladder
Western University of Health Sciences鈥� Health Career Ladder is a pathway fostering the progress of K-12 students and their parents/guardians from the Lebanon, Pomona, and Native American communities in becoming skilled and compassionate health care practitioners in a variety of medical and health care professions. Western University of Health Sciences (SWAG视频) hopes that the program will be able to provide support, linkage, and mentorship to a child throughout their pursuit of a career in medicine.
From Our Community For Our Community
The Health Career Ladder has entered its 10th year fostering a unique program empowering students and parents/guardians to become health professionals 鈥渇rom our community, for our community鈥�, as well as to promote healthy lifestyles. The Health Career Ladder is an umbrella that encompasses the American Indian Health Career Ladder, Lebanon Health Career Ladder, and Pomona Health Career Ladder. Our collaborative has created a network and pathways to assist students and parents/guardians in becoming physicians, dentists, nurses, physical therapists, pharmacists, physician assistants and a range of other health professionals.
