Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Recruiting

Diversity in healthcare is a crucial and multifaceted aspect that encompasses a range of dimensions including race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, cultural background, persons with disabilities and more. We at SWAGÊÓƵ understand that inclusive healthcare environments play a role in reducing health disparities. For this reason, we empower access for systemically excluded and disproportionately affected groups by connecting you with diverse healthcare professionals and current students who are a part of your group to build a sense of community. Connecting with other individuals who were once in your shoes, helps to ease the anxiety of navigating the admissions process. We hope to be of service to you as you embark on your journey into your graduate health professions program.

Building Relationships

Building strong relationships with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) and community organizations is at the forefront of the work that we do in recruitment. We host events and one-on-one advising for students to encourage a sense of belonging on our campus.
