  • Professional Experience

    Dr. Evans Grayson has over twenty years of experience in the field of social services that includes maternal and child health, transitional living skills and health education. She has worked as a Mental Health Specialist, Case Manager, and Residential Manager. Dr. Evans Grayson鈥檚 desire to specialize her services to the community, she worked as a Medical and Psychiatric Social Worker for inpatients and outpatients鈥 organizations for twelve years.

    County of Riverside, Department of Social Services (Moreno Valley, California)

    Primary responsibility was to serve as a primary member of the senior management team for the formation of departmental administrative and operational policies and procedures. Interprets and applies federal, state and county laws, regulations, and policies for programs, such as CalWORKs, Welfare to Work (GAIN) Medi-Cal, CalFresh, and Child Care. Also exercised administrative and supervisory direction for staff development and training for DPSS and the County of Riverside. Also responsible for coordinating and directly overseeing the operational management of diverse and complex administrative assignments for the Department of Social Services (DPSS). Other duties included:

    鈥 Planning, organizing, and conducting organizational studies to assess staff development needs and presents findings with program recommendations for improvement.

    鈥 Reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of training and aligning outcomes to established organizational goals and objectives, funding guidelines, and legislative requirements.

    鈥 Working with department personnel, county departments statewide and other governing agencies in solving mutual problems and exchanging program information, including curriculum and departmental resources.

    鈥 Developing and monitoring budget and expenditures for the Staff Development Training unit to maximize resources and increase efficiency.

    鈥 Developing and presenting monthly and quarterly Administrative Services Reports for all Executive Key Stakeholders.

    鈥 Acting as liaison to representatives of universities and colleges to develop and coordinate courses, workshops, and internship placements to contribute to our organizational succession planning.

    Dr. Evans Grayson approaches all developmental opportunities with intrinsic flair for innovation and creativity. Dr. Evans Grayson has created a variety of possibilities for staff to develop their skills and improve personal relationships in their working environment. Gail enjoys collaborating with anyone who has an interest in discovering their purpose and setting goals to maximize their potential.

    Dr. Evans Grayson鈥檚 lifelong interest in self-awareness and team development has helped organizations re-calibrate and re-invigorate their leadership team. Dr. Evans Grayson believes that if you can influence someone with your leadership skills, you can affect an entire organizational culture.
