Plantar fasciitis can lead to diminished single-leg balance performance. A completed cross-sectional study that compared balance markers between healthy participants and individuals with unilateral plantar fasciitis. The study has implications for future treatment considerations in those with plantar fasciitis. It also highlights a fall risk concern in the older population who are also at a higher risk for plantar fasciitis. As primary investigator, the manuscript is in queue to be completed.
