  • Narrative

    Dr. Loretta Ng is a clinician, an educator and a researcher. She graduated from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry in 1996 and began private practice in Vancouver, BC before moving to the US to do a refractive/disease residency in Oklahoma. She joined the ocular disease faculty at Southern California College of Optometry (Marshal Ketchum University) in 2001 and spent 6 years publishing her own research and educating future optometrists. In 2007 she moved to Hawaii to become the clinical director of Jenkins Eye Care, a busy ophthalmology practice in Honolulu. In August 2017, she joined Western University College of Optometry as Chief of Optometric Staff and enjoys being back in academia. She maintains involvement in clinical research and lectures nationally and internationally. In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her son and husband.
