  • Teaching Experience

    Dr. Smith鈥檚 current teaching responsibilities include coordination of the physical assessment portion of the curriculum. He also teaches cardiometabolic disease state management with a focus on diabetes mellitus, hypertension, dyslipidemia, heart failure, and smoking cessation.

    Dr. Smith鈥檚 research and practice interests involve engaging in community partnerships to develop innovative practice models in underserved populations to improve access to primary healthcare services and medications.
