Dr. Walker earned her BS in Health Education then worked in various community-based health organizations including AIDS Project Hartford and Tarrant County Mental Health Mental Retardation. She also worked in city government at the City of Arlington, TX Water Utilities Department in training and leadership development roles. She returned to school and earned her master's degree in physical therapy from UT Southwestern in 2003. She then completed her transitional DPT at Texas Tech in 2011. Dr. Walker has over 20 years of full-time clinical experience, working as a physical therapist in various care settings including acute, skilled nursing, acute rehab, home health, and outpatient. Her clinical expertise is in outpatient orthopedics, and she became a board-certified orthopedic specialist in 2013. In her spare time, Dr. Walker enjoys hiking, kayaking,attending music festivals, and travel abroad.
