The Office of the Senior Vice President for Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer is ultimately responsible for fiduciary control of investments, budgeting, financial reporting, financial planning, and all financial transactions.

• Joshua McFarlen, CPA, CA, MPAcc, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, leads the Financial Services & Treasury Unit and is responsible for operations in the offices of University Financial Services & Treasury, Student Financial Aid, Auxiliary Enterprises (Campus Stores), Procurement Services, and Risk Management.
• Renée Contreras, MPA, Director of Finance Operations and Project Management, assists the SVP Finance, CFO and Treasurer and serves as secondary point of contact for the Unit, Secretary to the Board Finance and Board Audit Committees, Concur Travel & Expense administrator, investments, and special projects.
• Maria Sapien, Administrative Associate II, assists the SVP for Finance, CFO and Treasurer, primary point of contact for scheduling, credit cards, Concur administrator (back up) and petty cash.
