Dear Colleagues and Friends,
I am writing to announce the departure of聽 Mr. Jeff Keating, SWAG视频 Vice President for Community and Government Affairs. During Jeff鈥檚 tenure and leadership at SWAG视频, he devoted many hours to providing communication expertise to SWAG视频 in unique ways.
In his role as Executive Director of Public Affairs beginning in 2008, and then as Executive Director of Public Affairs & Marketing in 2012, he led the Community and Governmental Affairs Office. SWAG视频 benefited from his prior experience in the strategic communications arena, and his experience in the corporate, nonprofit and government sectors.
While at SWAG视频, Jeff developed and implemented the overall communications strategy for the University, including media outreach, creation of press releases and electronic and print communications聽聽 He also supervised University Advancement employees in communications, publications, and special events.
In his more current role, Jeff monitored and represented the University on local, regional, and state association boards and committees and advocated for local, regional and statewide appointments of SWAG视频 leaders and stakeholders to associations, boards, and committees.聽 He also monitored policy issues impacting or potentially impacting the University and developed position statements as needed and approved and helped to develop execution strategies in collaboration with relevant campus entities and senior leadership.
Please join me in thanking Jeff for his 15-year commitment and service to the University and wishing him success in his future endeavors.
