Dr. Thomas Rambacher Reconstructive Surgery Endowed Scholarship
Why This Fund?
The Thomas Rambacher Reconstructive Surgery Endowed Scholarship honors the vision of a dedicated podiatric physician who believes in the transformative power of biomechanical reconstructive surgery within the field. This scholarship is awarded annually to one or more promising incoming Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) students with a strong interest in this transformative specialty and who hails from one of the few places Dr. Rambacher has called home – the States of Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia along with the Counties of Orange and Los Angeles in California.
• A Commitment to Restorative Care: Podiatric physicians play a critical role in managing pain, treating injuries, and performing amputations. However, this scholarship recognizes the potential for podiatry to go beyond – to rebuild and restore function, offering patients a renewed sense of mobility and confidence.
• A Legacy of Advancement: This endowed scholarship ensures sustained support for future generations of podiatric physicians dedicated to the field of reconstructive surgery. This scholarship empowers students to pursue this specialized path, ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes and redefined standards and practices of podiatric care.
