Campus Security
Campus Security provides a high-profile presence using a variety of patrolling techniques including vehicle, foot, and bicycle patrol. We utilize armed and unarmed security personnel who are responsible for patrolling the main campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. Campus Security maintains a rapid response capability to manage most security matters and receives assistance from the Pomona Police Department involving criminal incidents.
SWAG视频 has partnered with the SafeZone mobile app to provide our community a powerful tool that will help keep our campuses safe. The free SafeZone app is available for both iOS (Apple) and Android (Google) devices.
Learning Enhancement & Academic Development (LEAD) / Tutorial Assistance Program (TAP)
Tutorial Assistance Program (TAP) services are peer-based, small group content review sessions. To receive TAP support, students must first meet with a LEAD academic counselor then, students must request a tutor. Please use this link to request a tutor after meeting with a LEAD academic counselor. Our LEAD Tutors are current and alumni students who have successfully completed the coursework you are requesting. They are eager to share their experiences to support your academic journey.
Library
The Harriet K. and Philip Pumerantz Library provides comprehensive services to all students, faculty, staff, and alumni of SWAG视频 as well as various services for guests.

Student Affairs
The Office of University Student Affairs serves the SWAG视频 community through co-curricular activities, behavioral support services, student services and benefits, and academic events.鈥
Optum 鈥 Counseling Services
All Western of Health Sciences full-time students have direct access to an Emotional Wellbeing Solutions (EWS) for Students through OptumHealth. Under this EWS for Students, you and any member of your immediate household are eligible for up to six (6) free counseling sessions for each 鈥渋ncident鈥 or situation.
Counseling services may be accessed by telephone, via the web, or face-to-face. These confidential services consist of a series of tools and resources designed to help SWAG视频 students learn new and useful techniques for dealing with stress, anxiety, depression and other common challenges.

American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA)
The Official Web site of the only national organization that represents physician assistants in all specialties and employment settings, the AAPA site includes general information regarding the profession; government and practice issues; employment opportunities; listing of physician assistant organizations, and an on-line store for physician assistants.
Student Academy of the AAPA (SAAAPA)
A page run by both students and graduate physician assistants for student physician assistants across the country, accessing the most current information relevant to physician students in the United States. Topics include financial aid, academic survival skills and listings of student societies.
Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA)
Formerly known as the Association of Physician Assistant Programs (APAP), PAEA is the official Web site of the national organization representing physician assistant educational programs in the United States. This site includes a directory of physician assistant programs (requires on-line registration).
California Academy of Physician Associates (CAPA)
An excellent resource to find out what is happening within the California physician assistant community, including local group listings, legislative updates, reviews of practice issues, and information on continuing medical education.
National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Your online resource for physician assistant certification information, including details about the certification process, recertification, exam policies and procedures, and continuing medical education.
