Quality Improvement Set Us Apart

The goal of SWAG视频鈥檚 MSN-E is to create the next generation of nursing professionals who can create change in the healthcare system. Students partake in Quality Improvement Projects in conjunction with faculty, with a focus on improving processes on the unit level. But these projects aren鈥檛 just for school鈥攖hey have an effect on people and patients in the field. Previous student Quality Improvement Projects have led to remarkable industry changes including supporting emergency departments to help them more effectively scan for human trafficking victims, and a screening tool designed to help hospitals better address and fulfill the needs in the spectrum of gender equity in women鈥檚 health.

High Pass Rate

Even with a student to faculty ratio of 30 to 1, SWAG视频鈥檚 MSN-E boasts a pass rate of 98.7% in comparison to competitors鈥攁 testament to our faculty鈥檚 dedication to student success.

Scholarship Support

SWAG视频 gave $1.9 million in scholarships in 2024, with up to 40 students receiving $25,000 in scholarships to cover their entire MSN-E program.

Licensure Testing at 16 Months

Students take their board licensure tests in the 5th semester, just 16 months into the program鈥攁nd putting them ahead of the competition. You will go from matriculation to licensure in a shorter amount of time, and graduate with your MSN in just 24 months.

    Simulation

    To effectively prepare you for the high-pressure situations you will encounter in nursing, SWAG视频鈥檚 MSN-E program features a high-tech simulation lab where you can practice in a safe space that mimics high risk scenarios. While you will encounter these scenarios in a clinical setting, working in the simulation lab offers a unique opportunity to help you better prepare for emergency situations and teach you how to work through the stress to be more effective in the field. Our specialized externships, which are unique to SWAG视频, will also prepare you to take on a specialization. Whether you want to work in emergency, labor and delivery, intensive care or any other specialization, our externships give you the functional experience to work in the area of your choice. And while the Board of Registered Nursing only require 500 hours to be considered a safe and competent nurse, SWAG视频 students receive 900 clinical hours鈥攎aking you better prepared than the average nurse on every level.
