The Community College Accelerated Pharmacy Pathway (CCAPP) is designed for pre-pharmacy students at one of our partner community colleges who wish to secure Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) as candidates for the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree at SWAG视频.

    Our Purpose Your Opportunity

    In the summer of 2022, SWAG视频 College of Pharmacy (COP) formed the CCAPP initiative. The concept behind the program is to find willing partners with community colleges in the Southern California area and create an agreement whereby high-performing students can get a transfer admission guarantee into COP provided they complete all the prerequisites while maintaining a 3.0 or higher GPA. This program is designed with the goal of increasing diversity in the COP while also providing community college students with a way to save on time and education costs by reducing the number of years spent in undergraduate programs.

    As part of the CCAPP program, the COP will reach out and support community college students and connect with the high schools that feed into those colleges.

      While your journey begins in the classroom, SWAG视频 aims to prepare you for the future so you can serve your community with confidence. We offer 350 rotation sites with approximately 700 preceptors nationally and internationally. Potential rotation locations include California, Hawaii, Illinois, Arizona, Utah, and countries like Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan. You鈥檒l have the opportunity to complete a research project, making you more marketable for post-graduate residencies and fellowships. And when you鈥檙e ready to create your residency application, we鈥檒l connect you with a professor to help you make the right impression.
