PharmD International Pathway Program

Welcome!

If you have earned a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in pharmacy and want to advance your career by earning a PharmD degree, then consider our PharmD International Pathway (PIP) Program, which was formerly known as our International Post-Baccalaureate Program (IPBP). Our PIP program is targeted to domestic and/or foreign-trained pharmacists with a bachelor’s degree (B.S. or equivalent), who wish to earn a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. By qualifying for this program, you advance directly into the second year of the PharmD curriculum, which enables you to complete your degree in 2.5 years.

PharmD International Pathway Program 2.5 Year Program

The College of Pharmacy offers an outstanding cutting-edge curriculum, state-of-the-art classrooms, and interprofessional education experiences where you work side by side with other health care professionals as part of a team. You can engage in research with faculty. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience with the latest equipment, technologies, and techniques and form caring relationships with patients in our experiential learning opportunities.

  • International Students

    Western University of Health Sciences (SWAGÊÓƵ) welcomes international students and their families to our diverse university community.

    International Student Services (ISS) is responsible for providing support and assistance in immigration advising, maintaining immigration status, maintaining information and documents on foreign students and their dependents in the Student and exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), staying current with rules and regulations and interpreting and applying the rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Homeland Security.

    Western University of Health Sciences has approval from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to certify students eligible to receive VA educational benefits. The School Certifying Officials that are located on the Pomona, California campus assist all students who receive VA educational benefits. We cannot assist you with determining your eligibility for benefits.
